National Hugging Day is an annual event dedicated to hugging. It was created by Kevin Zaborney and occurs annually on January 21. The day was first celebrated on January 21, 1986 in Clio, Michigan, USA.
At Bridgeway, this day resonates quite strongly with us.
We love our residents dearly and they love us in return.
It isn’t an unusual sight to witness our residents and their families (and we include ourselves in the category of ‘family,’ because we truly feel that way) reach out to hug one another.
So we exhort all of our families and friends on this day, grab hold of someone you love and envelop them in a warm hug.
You will provide love and warmth and will receive the same in return.
Enrich someones life today!
