Why Cognitive Aging Should (Not) Scare You
Because cognitive aging and dementia aren’t the same.
“Jack, I’m worried about Dad,” Laura said to her husband when they sat down for coffee after dinner.
“Why?”
“Because he couldn’t find his car keys,” she said.
Jack grinned over the rim of his coffee cup. “Honey, you misplace your car keys at least three times a week,” he said. “Does that worry you?”
“If I were seventy it would.”
