Fake it until you make it, goes the saying. While there may be some truth to that, acting happy is a lot more than faking it. By assuming a posture of someone who is happy, your physiology can affect your mood. You don’t need to wait until you feel happy before you start behaving like a happy person. It can work the other way around. Just try smiling and walking briskly with your back upright. If you do it for long enough, you’ll very-likely have a hard time not being in a happy state.
